How to Export Beat Track Outs with Effects in Studio One 4

production tutorials

Last week I made a post about my new beat production and mixing workflow and the gist of it was that I recently changed the way that I export my beat track outs when sending out to an artist or to an engineer.

Before I used to take off all plugins before exporting but after some conversations with some mixing engineers, I now print all my track outs with any effects baked in. Also, I've started to differentiate between plugins that might be for sound design in the production phase and plugins that might be used for actual mixing.

If you want to understand more about my stance of this and the root of this entire shift then definitely make sure to check out that first post but this week I promised that I would walk you through how you can export your beat track outs with effects in Studio One so here it is.

Enjoy!
